VEGAFLEX 81

The VEGAFLEX 81 is a guided wave radar sensor for continuous level and interface measurement of liquids in small vessels under ordinary process conditions. Through a large selection of gravity weights, the VEGAFLEX 81 can be also used in standpipes and bypass tubes.

VEGAFLEX 82

The VEGAFLEX 82 allows maintenance-free measurement of light and heavy bulk solids. Even in applications with strong dust generation, condensation or buildup, the sensor delivers precise and reliable measured values. Automatic probe end tracking enables measurement of virtually any kind of bulk solid material.

VEGAFLEX 86

The VEGAFLEX 86 level sensor allows maintenance-free measurement of all liquids under extreme pressure and temperature conditions. Even in applications with buildup, foam generation and condensation, the sensor delivers precise and reliable measured values. In saturated steam applications, a special reference probe ensures a density-independent measurement.

MLI/BRIDLE

Magnetic level indicators and bridles are designed to be an indirect reading liquid level indicator. A variety of mounting styles are available to suit any vessel or piping requirement.

VEGAMAG 61

The VEGAMAG 61 is a standard magnetic level indicator and is designed to perform in the most demanding of applications. The wide aluminum flag design provides better visibility even in the highest temperature applications. The flag-indication used in conjunction with the scale provides a clear understanding of the process liquid levels.

VEGAMAG 62

The VEGAMAG 62 series combination magnetic level indicator and Bypass bridle chamber provides the benefits of both visual indication and process control by using the proven technology of the VEGAFLEX to provide the most complete visual and guided microwave radar package in the industry. VEGAMAG 63

The VEGAMAG 63 is an integrated chamber measuring system that combines magnetic level indication with guided wave or non-contact radar measurement. This technology is used for processes with low dielectric constant values, flashing, foaming or in light hydrocarbons. Its compact design can provide a smaller installation envelope.

VEGAPASS 81

The combination of VEGAPASS 81 with VEGAFLEX enables a continuous level measurement outside the vessel. The bypass consists of a standpipe which is mounted as a communicating vessel laterally to the vessel via two process fittings. This kind of mounting ensures that the level in the standpipe and the vessel are the same.

NUCLEAR (RADIATION-BASED)

RADAR

VEGAPULS 64

ULTRASONIC

Ultrasonic sensing technology is suitable for the continuous, non-contact level measurement of liquids and bulk solids. Level is determined by measuring the air space between the product and the sensor, making it ideal for simple applications with stable measuring conditions.

VEGASON 63

The VEGASON 63 is an ultrasonic sensor for continuous level measurement of liquids and bulk solids. Typical applications are the measurement of liquids in storage tanks and open basins. The sensor is suitable for continuous level measurement of bulk solids in small up to average-size vessels. The non-contact measuring principle is independent of product features and allows a setup without medium.

The proportion of solid matter in a liquid is determined with the help of density measurement. Typical applications in the process industry are the measurement of acid and lye concentrations, the mixture density of abrasive or sticky liquids and the solid matter content of sludges and slurries.

MINITRAC 31

The MINITRAC 31 is a radiation-based sensor for non-contact density measurement of liquids and bulk solids. The MINITRAC 31 determines the density from outside through pipelines or the vessel wall. Through its compact design it is ideal for mounting in positions hard to access and in narrow space applications.

MINITRAC 32

The MINITRAC 32 is a rugged nuclear detector, well suited for a variety of non-contact density and short level measurements. It is ideal for continous density measurements of liquids or slurries where the pipe translates extreme vibration to the detector. It is equally well suited for installation on high-pressure spool pieces that are repeatedly installed and removed via hammer unions.

In point level detection, a point level switch detects when a certain, predefined level is reached. Such a device is employed when it is not necessary to measure every possible intermediate level. A switching command starts or stops filling equipment such as levels or pumps. Point level detection systems can be used liquids, pastes, powders or bulk solids.

CAPACITIVE

POINTRAC 31

The POINTRAC 31 is a radiation-based sensor for universal level detection of liquids and bulk solids. Independent of the mounting location, it monitors reliably the limit level in vessels. The sensor can be used for applications in all industries. Due to the high sensitivity POINTRAC 31 is an economical solution with minimum radiation activity.

RADAR

The microwave barriers of the radar point level sensors are suitable for non-contact point level detection of liquids and bulk solids of any kind, including detection of high purity liquids through container walls. When it comes to bulk solids, the microwave barrier lends itself well for heavy and dust-generating media or for backup detection on conveyor belts.

The position of the switching point is determined through the tube extension. The VEGASWING 63 offers high reliability and security in a wide application range.
